Overview

Introduction

Acesulfamate, also known as potassium acetylsulfonate (K is the symbol for potassium) or Ace K, is a calorie free sugar substitute (artificial sweetener) typically sold under the trade names Sunett and Sweet One. In the European Union, it is known for its E number (additive code) E950. It was unexpectedly discovered by German chemist Karl Claus at Hoechst AG (now Nutrinova) in 1967. [3] In chemical structure, potassium acetalsulfonate is a potassium salt of 6-methyl-1,2,3-oxathiazin-4 (3H) - ketone 2,2-dioxide. It is a white crystalline powder with the molecular formula C4H4KNO4S and a molecular weight of 201.24 g/mol.

Ansai honey is widely used in various foods. Ansemi is the most suitable sweetener for soft foods because of its high stability and good taste. It can be used in foods such as sweeteners: soft drinks, chewing gum, coffee (instant), tea (instand), dairy analogues, gelatin, pudding desserts, tabletop sweeteners, and baked goods. Ansemi can also be used in medicine and cosmetics, such as syrup, sugar coated skin, toothpaste, lipstick, mouthwash, and similar products.
