Glucose monohydrate/anhydrous glucose is a white hexagonal crystal made from starch. It is usually used as a sweetener. Glucose monohydrate can be directly consumed and can be used in candies, cakes, beverages, biscuits, boiled foods, medicinal jams, jellies, and honey products. It has a better taste, good quality, and low cost. For cakes and fried foods, they can remain soft and extend their shelf life. Glucose powder is soluble and can be widely used in beverages and cold foods. This powder is used in the artificial fiber industry. The properties of glucose powder are similar to those of high malt syrup, so it is easily accepted by the market and can be consumed directly to increase physical strength and endurance. It can be used as a supplement for patients with hypoglycemia, fever, and dizziness. It has good fluidity and solubility, moderate viscosity, good emulsification, stability, and anti recrystallization properties, low water absorption, and less clumping, making it a good carrier for sweeteners.
