PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Oxalic acid is a simple dicarboxylic acid, also known as oxalic acid. It is a colorless and transparent crystal at room temperature. It usually contains two molecules of crystal water. When heated to 100.1 °C, it loses the crystal water and becomes anhydrous oxalic acid. Toxic and harmful to human body. It is hygroscopic, easily soluble in ethanol, soluble in water and slightly soluble in ether. Insoluble in benzene and chloroform.

 

PRODUCT FEATURES

Colorless monoclinic flakes or prismatic crystals or white powders, oxidative oxalic acid is odorless, synthetic oxalic acid is odorless. 150 ~ 160 ℃ sublimation. It can be weathered in hot dry air. 1g is dissolved in 7ml water, 2ml boiling water, 2.5ml ethanol, 1.8ml boiling ethanol, 100ml ether, 5.5ml glycerol, insoluble in benzene, chloroform and petroleum ether.

 

PRODUCT USAGE

It is mainly used for the production of antibiotics and borneol and other drugs, as well as solvents for the extraction of rare metals, dye reducing agents, leather tanning agents, etc.; it can also be used to synthesize various oxalate, oxalate and oxamide products; it can also be used for cobalt-molybdenum - Production of aluminum catalysts, cleaning of metals and marble, and bleaching of textiles; acidity regulators for synthesizing urea-formaldehyde resins, melamine-formaldehyde resins and other adhesives; pharmaceutical industry for the manufacture of oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline and other drugs.
