Overview

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Neopentyl Glycol (NPG), white crystalline solid, odorless, hygroscopic. Mainly used in the production of unsaturated resins, oil-free alkyd resins, polyurethane foam and elastomer plasticizers, surfactants, insulating materials, printing inks, polymerization inhibitors, synthetic aviation lubricant oil additives, etc.; at the same time, Neopentyl Glycol is also an excellent solvent for the selective separation of aromatic hydrocarbons and cycloalkyl hydrocarbons; its amine baking varnish has a good light retention and does not yellowing; it can be used as raw material for the production of stabilizers, pesticides. Neopentyl Glycol is also used as a raw material for the production of stabilizers and pesticides.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

Neopentyl Glycol has a wide range of uses, mainly as a plasticizer in the production of unsaturated polyester resins, oil-free alkyd resins, polyurethane foams and elastomers, as an additive to high-grade lubricating oils, and as other fine chemicals. Neopentyl Glycol is an excellent solvent for the selective separation of aromatic and cycloalkyl hydrocarbons. Neopentyl Glycol is resistant to water, chemicals and weathering. Its amino baking paints have good light retention and do not yellow. It is also used as a raw material for the production of polymerization inhibitors, stabilizers and pesticides.
