PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Melamine, commonly known as diamine and protein essence, with the molecular formula C3H6N6 and named "1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine" by IUPAC, is a triazine-containing nitrogen-heterocyclic organic compound, which is used as a chemical raw material. It is a white monoclinic crystal, almost odorless, harmful to health, and cannot be used in food processing or food additives.

USES

Melamine is an important nitrogen heterocyclic organic chemical material, mainly used as the main raw material for the manufacture of melamine formaldehyde resin (MF), organic element analysis reagent, also used in organic and resin synthesis for leather processing tanning agent and filler, but also used in timber, plastics, coatings, papermaking, textiles, leather, electrical, pharmaceutical and other industries, but also can be used as flame retardant, formaldehyde cleaner, fertilizer and so on.

Melamine is the most commonly used gas source of intumescent flame retardant, and is also the raw material for the preparation of many intumescent flame retardant components (such as a variety of phosphates, cyanurates, phosphates), and often used with other flame retardant composite flame retardant for a variety of plastics and other polymers, such as combined with organophosphoric acid ester to flame retardant polyurethane foam.
