PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Soda ash is also known as sodium carbonate. Soda ash is divided into light soda ash, dense soda ash, and food grade soda ash. Mainly used in the production of glass products, textile printing and dyeing agents, detergents, water treatment, etc.

Physical properties: The appearance is white powder or small crystalline particles, with an astringent taste.

Chemical properties: The aqueous solution hydrolyzes to an alkaline state and has a certain degree of corrosiveness. It can neutralize w    ith acids, generate corresponding salts, and release carbon dioxide. It can decompose at high temperatures, generating sodium oxide and carbon dioxide. It will deliquescence in humid air, slowly absorb carbon dioxide and water, and some will become sodium bicarbonate. Therefore, packaging should be strict, otherwise it will absorb water and clump.

APPLICATION

Glass: The glass industry is a major consumer area of soda ash. The soda consumption per ton of glass is 0.2T.

Printing and dyeing: Used as a softener in the printing and dyeing industry.

Buffer: As a buffer, neutralizer, and dough improver, it can be used in pastry and noodles, and can be used appropriately according to production needs.
