PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Re-dispersible polymer powder (RDP) is a water-soluble polymer made from ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) polymers by spray-drying, designed for the construction industry to improve the performance of dry-mix mortars.
RDP is always used in combination with cellulose ethers and other additives to improve the performance and properties of cementitious or gypsum-based mortars, such as better water retention, open time, better workability, increased adhesion to a variety of substrates and higher flexural strength and flexibility.
Its technical ability to increase cohesion, flexibility, adhesive strength and most importantly waterproofing properties, forming films with high tensile and adhesive strength on different substrates.
ROLE
Redispersible latex powder dispersed to form a film and play an enhanced role as a second adhesive;.
Protect the colloid to be absorbed by the mortar system (after the film is formed, it will not be destroyed by water, or "secondary dispersion").
The film-forming polymer resin is distributed as a reinforcing material throughout the mortar system, thus increasing the cohesion of the mortar.
IN WET MORTAR
Improvement of workability; Improvement of flowability. Improve flow properties. Increased thixotropy and sag resistance; and Improved cohesion; and prolongs open time; and Enhance water retention.
AFTER CURING OF MORTAR
Increase tensile strength. Increase flexural strength. Decrease modulus of elasticity; and Increase deformability. increase material compactness; and increase wear strength; and increase cohesive strength; and reducing the depth of carbonization; and Reduces water absorption of the material.Make the material have excellent water-enhancing properties (add water-enhancing adhesive powder).
